With serious concerns about both the amount of traffic and the size of lorries using the A357 to cross the Somerset/Dorset border - residents are asking for action!

House building on both sides of the Somerset/Dorset border is continually increasing levels of traffic on the A357.
With lorries growing in size and their trips more frequent, pressure on the sometimes single carriageway A357 is causing real concern for pedestrian safety, especially in the border village of Henstridge.
